Come See me at Puppet Power: Festival of Ideas

Updated: Jun 27, 2022

Puppet Power: Festival of Ideas is launching May 23 – 29, 2022, exploring applied puppetry through the theme of “Celebration” in various practices. I'm very pleased to announce that I will be taking part as a presented and host for the online festival this year!

I will be one of the panelists of Reinvigorating the Work We Do with Online Audiences on Saturday May 28th at 4:30 pm MDT as well as emceeing Celebrating Love on Saturday, May 28th at 6:00 pm MDT. Want to hear my thoughts on digital and online puppetry? Want to hang out and celebrate love? Come out to these fun events!

This festival features over 40 presenters and over 30 talks, panels, performances, and workshops. New this year is Intermissions! – an online networking and idea exchange hosted by special guests (including myself). You can find the full list of presenters here and check out the full line up by visiting www.wppuppet.com/puppet-power.

About Puppet: Power Festival of Ideas

Puppet Power: Festival of Ideas looks at the role inanimate objects have had in ceremonies and celebrations since time immemorial. We explore the impact and potential of Applied Puppetry in all sorts of practices. We wonder, who’s at the party, who’s not and whether it’s time to take back the carnival!

While designed for everyone, this will be of particular interest to educators, therapists, helping professionals, artists, students, thought leaders and idea generators.

More than just entertainment and information sharing… our Festival of Ideas is about making authentic connections, having meaningful conversations on important topics, and motivating a call to action to use the power of puppetry to impact positive social change.
